Since 2018, David Lefkowitz has served as both PAI’s sole publisher and editor-in-chief. David is also the founder of the theater review archive TotalTheater.com and former managing editor of Playbill.com. Producer and host of the long-running radio program, Dave’s Gone By–currently airing live on Facebook Saturday mornings (facebook.com/davesgoneby), David is also a playwright and performer, having co-created the comedy Shalom Dammit! An Evening with Rabbi Sol Solomon and created the award-winning solo The Miracle of Long Johns. In 2017, his one-act comedy, Blind Date, was produced in Chennai, India. He has taught playwriting and English composition at the University of Northern Colorado.

Former publisher, and then co-publisher (2000-2019) of Performing Arts Insider, Richmond Shepard was a respected producer, director, performer, theater critic, and theater owner for more than half a century. He passed away July 2, 2019 at the age of 90.
